FLINTON - Claysburg-Kimmel rolled to a pair of five-innning wins over Glendale in high school softball Saturday.
In the first game, C-K's Ronette Claar hit two home runs, and Kelsey Ickes and Kalee Harten also homered in an 18-1 romp. Claar, Harten and Mallory Cox had three hits, and Ickes and Courtlin Holland had two hits. Freshman Keirsten Coho pitched a one-hitter in her debut.
In the second game, Claar, Harten and Cox had two hits apiece, and Ickes tossed a two-hitter in an 11-1 victory.

JV, Mo Valley split
ALEXANDRIA - Heather Carper fired a four-hitter, and Olivia Stewart and Trish Grove each drove in two runs to help Juniata Valley earn a split with Moshannon Valley with a 5-2 win in the second game of a doubleheader.
Kelsey Kitko's grounder scored Mikayla Lewis with the winning run to help Moshannon Valley win the opener, 6-5, in eight innings. Abby Zinobile belted a two-run homer, and Kerrigan Ammerman and Desiree Endres each had three hits for Juniata Valley.

PHILIPSBURG - Philipsburg-Osceola defeated Altoona, 11-3, behind the bat and pitching of Chelsea Rex.
Rex homered and had two doubles while driving in three runs and struck out nine while picking up the win.
Amanda Parrish had three hits, including a double and all three Altoona RBIs.
In the Lady Lions' second game, Parrish had five RBIs, Bailey Sinai had three hits and Didi Rizzo tossed a one-hit shutout as Altoona crushed Brookville, 15-0, in four innings.
Kate Burge pitched a perfect game in four innings, striking out 11 batters in P-O's 15-0 victory over Brookville.
Mackenzie Wilson hit a home run, and Macy Harpster went 3-for-3.
