Richard Crabtree and Matt Myers from Tyrone won their match in the round of 16 against Josh Remillard and Ryan Kinley before eventually coming up short against Christian Ference and Dylan Horne from Richland at the District 6 class AA doubles championships Thursday at the Leopold Court.
Ben Hample and Justin Miller also from Tyrone picked up a first round win against Bishop Guilfoyle's Zane Clark and Tai Irwin, but eventually bowed out to Aaron Miller and Brad Carney from Westmont Hilltop.
Top seeded Nihar Suthar and Jeremey Koller from Indian Valley will face off against second-seeded Aaron Miller and Brad Carney from Westmont Hilltop on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Leopold Rec Center.

Bedford eliminated
BEDFORD - Caleb Goodin won his singles match for Bedford as the Bisons fell, 4-1, against Somerset in the District 5 class AA semifinals.
In the completion of a suspended match, Kenny Ward and Andrew Stahl picked up a win in doubles play as Bedford fell to Somerset, 3-1.
Somerset will take on Tussey Mountain for the District 5 title.

Tigers still unbeaten
MILL HALL - Hollidaysburg improved to 14-0 with a 5-2 win at Central Mountain.
The Tigers got singles victories from Cameron Humphrey, Steven Dodson and Donnie Vonada. Jared Kimble and Zach Ottaway, along with the team of Brian Schultz and Robbie Vonada, earned doubles victories.
Hollidaysburg, with one more match at Huntingdon next week, could finish undefeated for the first time in school history if it were to win over the Bearcats.
