PORTAGE - Portage won the Portage Area High School Spring Baseball Classic on Saturday.
Jake Bryja threw a one-hit complete game to lead Portage to a 10-0 victory over Conemaugh Valley.
Mike Pcola hit a two-run homer in the fourth and had a two-run single in the sixth. Evan Price chipped in with two singles, a double and scored three runs.
Andrew Maul fired a complete game in the championship in Portage's 4-1 win over Southern Huntingdon. Derek Cyran had a double and went 3-for-3. Evan Price added a two-run single in the fifth.
Southern Huntingdon had beaten Shanksville, 14-0, earlier, and Conemaugh Valley won the consolation, 20-6, over Shanksville.
Skills champions were Portage's Spencer Price (60-yard dash, 6.9 seconds), Southern Huntingdon's Daniel Goshorn (throw) and Pcola (home run derby).

In a game at Blair County Ballpark, Glendale picked up its first win, a come-from-behind win over Moshannon Valley.
The Black Knights took a 4-0 lead in the third, thanks to RBI singles from Bobby Gallagher and Lucas Harlow. Gallagher finished with three hits.
Trailing 4-2, Glendale (1-6) won it with four in the bottom of the sixth. Tim Sutton, who had two hits, cleared the bases with a double. He finished with four RBIs, and Jarid Ivory stole home in the inning. Mitch Gedman added two hits and scored three runs.
Mike Wigfield got the win in relief. He finished with five strikeouts.
