BC juniors beat Somerset
EBENSBURG - Bishop Carroll defeated Somerset in girls junior high volleyball action, 25-9, 25-7. Ellie Yahner had 17 service points.
Jess Shaffer earned 11 service points and 12 assits in the win. Sarah Gomish had eight kills.
Bishop Carroll hiked its record to 12-0.

Big Orange League ppens
HUNTINGDON - Fred Lear had the low gross of 41, and Bill Frazier and Jim Lasko had the low net of 36 in the first week of the Big Orange Golf League at the Huntingdon Country Club.
Rick Bayer's 150-yard shot on the third hole was a shot of the day, as was his chip on the sixth for par and Bill Landis' chip on the ninth for par.
