HUNTINGDON - Phil Servello had 15 service points, 10 assists and eight digs to help lead Altoona over Huntingdon, 25-20, 25-20, 25-15, in high school boys volleyball action Tuesday night.

Branden McGarvey had 12 assists, Brandon Stitt 11 digs, Clay Gingrich 10 digs and Mitchell Snyder added 11 kills for the Mountain Lions.

Marauders defeated

DUBOIS - Despite 11 service points and 29 assists from Ben Kasun and Brian Logue's 15 kills, Bishop Guilfoyle fell to DuBois, 19-25, 21-25, 28-26, 25-14, 15-7 in high school boys volleyball action.

Nate Dorman added 15 digs in the loss for the Marauders.

BG juniors triumph

STATE COLLEGE - Elizabeth Davies had eight service points to lead the Bishop Guilfoyle junior high girls volleyball team past Park Forest, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22.

The Lady Marauders improved to 9-1.

SOFTBALL

SAXTON - Jenny Burket was the winning pitcher in helping the Claysburg-Kimmel junior high softball team to a 9-2 victory over Tussey Mountain on Monday.
