SHIPPENSBURG - The Bellwood-Antis High School boys won the Class AA division title on Saturday at the 85th annual Jack Roddick/Shippensburg University High School Track and Field Invitational at Seth Grove Stadium.
The Blue Devils took first out of 36 teams with 62 team points.
Helping lead the way to the team title was Brian Leap, who won the long jump and triple jump with marks of 20-7 and 44-8, respectively.

Teammate Dylan Albert took second in the pole vault with a 10-6 mark, and Seth Worthing was third in the 100 dash (11.64).
Leap also took third in the high jump at 6-2, while teammate Danny Noye finished third in the pole vault at 12-0.
In fourth place, Deryk Montgomery placed in the triple jump at 41-4, while in fifth place, Adam Davensizer finished the 110 hurdles in 15.81.
The 3200 relay team of Travis Taylor, Matt Rimmey, Christian Solecki and Montgomery took seventh in 8:59.4. Josh Gongloff placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 41-6. Solecki also took seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 10-6, and Jeremy Claypole was eighth in the triple jump (39-9).
The Tyrone boys, behind Nick Patton's first-place finish in the 100 dash (11.25) and Charles Wilson's first-place finish in the high jump (6-6), placed sixth. Wilson was also seventh in the triple jump (39-9), Richard Stever was seventh in the 3,200 run in 10:19.01 and the Tyrone 3,200 relay team of Ben Makdad, Hayden Zook, J.D. Dorminy and James Russell was sixth in 8:58.88.
Central's Derek Nothstein won the javelin with a throw of 185-1, and Central's Dan Hoover was second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.46. Tussey Mountain's Chris Foore was sixth in the 1,600 run (4:49.20), and Huntingdon's Sean Houck was fourth in the javelin (155-1).
Huntingdon's Bethany Ledford won the Class AA girls high jump with a leap of 5-0 and the pole vault with an 11-0.
Tussey Mountain's Samantha Coffman was seventh in the 400 dash in 1:03.83, and Tyrone's Jordyn Swogger was eighth in 1:04.51.
The Altoona boys finished eighth out of 46 teams in Class AAA, and Hollidaysburg was 14th.
Hollidaysburg's Anthony Pinter won the high jump by clearing 6-4, and Altoona's DeShae Lee was third with a 6-2.
Altoona's Korey Replogle was fifth in the 3,200 run with a time of 9:51.63, and the Altoona 3,200 relay team of Wade Endress, Tyler Lidwell, Zach Price and Patrick Reade was fourth in 8:20.92.
Tussey Mountain's Kameron Starr was eighth in the 110 hurdles in 16.02.
The Hollidaysburg 3,200 relay team of Alyssa Beyer, Ashley Beyer, Alexis Preston and Lauren Pheasant placed fourth in the 3,200 relay in a time of 10:16.08 in Class AAA girls, and the Altoona team of Alexis Ebersole, Sasha Peterman, Ashley Lidwell and Carly Port was eighth in 10:28.86.
Pheasant was eighth in the 1,600 run in 5:36.72.
Shrift wins three
ELLIOTTSBURG - The Hollidaysburg Area High School track and field team won six events at the West Perry Mustang Invitational Meet last Saturday.
Nick Shrift won the boys 100, 200 and 400 dashes and was named the track MVP. Alyssa Beyer won the 3,200 run for the third straight year in a time of 12:43.02, Lauren Pheasant won the 1,600 run in 5:44.83, and the 3,200 relay team Beyer, Pheasant, Ashley Beyer and Alexis Beyer prevailed in a meet-record time of 10:02.72.
