Moshannon Valley sweeps Lady Pirates

HOUTZDALE - Moshannon Valley improved to 3-2 with a doubleheader sweep over Williamsburg, 7-4 and 11-1, in high school softball Friday.

In Game One, Tayla Swoope drove in two runs, while winning pitcher Kristen Gallagher struck out 11 for the Damsels. In Game Two, Mikayla Lewis drove in two runs, while Kristen and Lauren O'Donnell each delivered two hits in a five-inning victory.
