Altoona senior Craig McCloskey tossed a no-hitter in a 10-0, five-inning win over Bishop Walsh in the first round of the Altoona Curve Classic Saturday at Blair County Ballpark.
McCloskey struck out six and walked four, and the Mountain Lions scored three runs in second, third and fourth innings. Tyson Steele and No. 9 hitter Nate Clancy had two hits apiece for the Lions.
The Lions face Central at 11:15 this morning in the semifinals.
