Shady Side Academy's Geoff Alexander will head to the Southwest Regional Class AA Tournament on the heels of winning his fourth District 7 title.
Alexander, who will go for his fourth regional title at the Cambria County War Memorial, pinned Jeannette's Sean Lavella in 1:09 of the 125-pound finals.
Burrell had five champions in the tournament, including three-time winner Dave Makara (130). Brian Beattie (215) won his second, and teammates Zach Kelly (112), Jeremy Landowski (135) and Dakota DesLauriers (171) also won titles.
Derry, which has moved from Class AAA to AA, was led by its two three-time champs in Jimmy Gulibon (119) and Travis Shaffer. Gulibon, a junior, has won two state titles.
Horan leads Nazareth
Nazareth's Zach Horan, a three-time state runner-up, won his fourth District 11 Class AAA title by edging Blue Mountain's Brandon Choate, 6-4, in the 130-pound finals.
Easton won the District 11 team title with two champions in Joey Rizzolino (135) and Mitch Minotti (140) and four runners-up. The Rovers won the title by 42.5 points, 273.5-231, over Nazareth and are sending 13 to the Northeast Regional.
Fort LeBoeuf wins title
Fort LeBoeuf won the District 10 Class AA title by 24.5 points, 209.5-185, over Reynolds. Fort LeBoeuf had two champions and four runners-up, while Reynolds had four champs and a runner-up.
