The Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic junior high hockey team posted a 3-1 win over Central Cambria at Galactic Ice in Laurel Mountain Hockey League action.
The Marauders got goals from Catcher Cumming, Jordan Wolf and William Shivas in the victory. Shivas and Alec Bakale had assists. Zach Goins scored the Red Devils goal.
BG captures title
Jamey Brumbaugh scored 22 points to lead Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic past Bishop Carroll, 55-51, in junior high boys basketball at the Pleasant Valley Gymnasium Thursday.
With the win, the Marauders clinched the 2010-2011 Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Championship in junior high boys basketball.
In the loss for the Huskies, Scott Holsinger had 22 points, Brandon Martinazzi chipped in 17 and Nick Suckinos added 10.
