HOLLIDAYSBURG - Freshman Mace Long broke his own school record in the 100-yard butterfly to help the Hollidaysburg Area High School boys swimming team clinch a league title with a 124-46 victory over Westmont Hilltop on Wednesday.
The Golden Tigers, 13-1, won the Central Western Allegheny Aquatics Conference title, and Westmont won the CWAAC girls title with a 93-77 win over Hollidaysburg.
Long swam the 100 fly in 55.97 seconds and also won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:14.70. Matt Crum won the 200 and 500 freestyle events for the Tigers.
Sarah Kaneshiki won the 200 and 500 freestyles for the Lady Tigers, and Sarah Robbins placed first in the 50 and 100 freestyles.

Altoona swept
The Altoona boys and girls teams were swept at AAHS Fieldhouse pool by State College, with the boys falling, 106-60, while the girls were defeated, 106-53.
There were no double winners for the boys team (12-2).
Danielle Parowski was solid for the Lady Lions, setting a school record in the 500 freestyle with a winning time of 5:16.85. She also won the 50 freestyle. The Altoona girls fell to 5-9.
