Vendors, seminars to highlight weekend

February 12, 2011
The Altoona Mirror

The Pennsylvania Outdoor Times Hunting & Fishing Show, presented by the Altoona Mirror, will take place Friday through Sunday (Feb. 18-20) at the Blair County Convention Center.

More than 50 vendors will be selling their wares, and guest lecturers, demonstrations and seminars will be featured all three days.

The show is open from noon until 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission for adults is $6 per day - $5 with a $1 off coupon that will be running in the Mirror - and children under 12 are admitted free.

Parking at the Convention Center is free.

There are two new events this year that are not included with the price of the ticket.

A deer 'n beer event, priced at $15 per person, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and a wild game dinner and wine sampling, priced at $35 per person, will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for these two events and can be purchased online at: hfs.altoonamirror.com or by calling 1-800-222-1962.
