The ice and snow the region received Tuesday night and Wednesday morning once again took its toll on the scholastic sports schedule. Virtually the entire area slate for tonight was wiped out with the exception of Bedford's boys and girls basketball doubleheader against Bishop McCort and Johnstown. There are also a number of events in southern Cambria County, westernmost District 6 and District 5 that were unaffected by the weather and will go on as scheduled tonight.
Altoona and Huntingdon's District 6 wrestling tournament dual meets both were impacted by the storm, though, as neither school was open today. Their meets were pushed back to Thursday. The Altoona at Hollidaysburg wrestling meet scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled for Feb. 16, as a result.
