Jenna Gunnett and Alyssa Clark were double winners as Central girls defeated Indian Valley, 68-19, and Penns Valley, 67-17, in high school swimming action Friday at Penn State Altoona. Gunnett won the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle and Clark won the 200 and 100 freestyle.
The boys had Drake Dodson win the 100 and 500 freestyle in their wins over the Warriors, 46-13, and the Rams, 45-21.

Swimming for a cause
The Altoona and Hollidaysburg high school swim teams will compete on Monday night and use their match to help fight breast cancer.
Swimmers from both teams have been encouraged to raise at least $10 each for the American Cancer Society. Each swimmer will also receive a pink cap, pink tie-dye shirt and a pink rubber duck to bring awareness to the cause.
Special programs displaying team rosters on both sides will be printed on pink paper and sold at the match for $1. The event begins at the Altoona Fieldhouse at 6:30 p.m.
Lady Tigers get a win
HOLLIDAYSBURG - Payton Civils scored 13 points to lead Hollidaysburg as it doubled up Williamsport, 48-24, in a junior high girls basketball game Friday. Kiki Davis added 11 points for the Lady Tigers.
