JOHNSTOWN - Jack Wagner scored a pair of goals and had an assist as Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic defeated Westmont Hilltop, 3-1, in high school hockey at the Cambria County War Memorial Friday.

Josh Porta scored BG's other goal as the Marauders improved to 8-4-0.

Mustangs take second

PORTAGE - Portage finished second in a three-way high school rifle contest with DuBois and Forest Hills Friday.

Portage finished second with a team score of 1,320 behind DuBois' 1,322. Forest Hills scored 1,211 to finish third.

The Mustangs were led by Russell Smith's score of 275, which earned him a distinguished expert award.

Candice Ramus (272), Alex Fedorko (261), Zack Stair (257) and Alex Bobolsky (255) each scored for Portage.
