CLEARFIELD - The Hollidaysburg swim team competed at the Clearfield Invitational on Saturday, as the boys team placed second, and the girls took sixth in a 12 -team field.
On the boys side in the 200 medley, the team of Mace Long, Mark Colapietro, Ben Crownover and Luke Roberts won in 1:46.08.
The Golden Tigers also had two additional first-place finishes. Long won the 100 backstroke in 58.00, and in the 200 freestyle relay, top honors were taken by Dan Henderson, Long, Matt Crum and Roberts in 1:35.46.
Roberts placed second in the 50 freestyle (23.11). Long also took second in the 100 butterfly in 56.94, and Crownover took third in 59.65.
Long took second in 59.64 in the 100 butterfly, Crownover finished third completing the event in 59.65. Colapietro took third in the 200 IM in 2:12.94.
The 400 relay team of Dan Henderson, Mike Brown, Crownover, and Matt Crum finished in third in 3:39.68.
On the girls side, Sarah Kaneshiki picked up the Lady Tigers' lone first-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time 1:03.63. She also picked up a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle in 25.55.
Sarah Robbins took second in the 100 butterfly in 1:01.81. In the 200 free relay, Robbins, Meghan Grassadonia, Meg-han Keefer and Sarah Kane-shiki took third (1:50.06).
