ROARING SPRING - At the Mid-Winter FFA Convention Jan. 10 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show, four Central High School FFA members will receive their Keystone Degree, the highest state degree possible, based on money earned with their projects, FFA participation, citizenship and scholarship.
The four honored students are Isaac Russell, son of Jim and Pam Russell; Jordan Wismeyer, daughter of Shane and Jennifer Wismeyer; Shane Ritchey, son of Tom and Cindy Ritchey; and Wesley Smith, son of Dawn and Lyle Smith.
All four are seniors this year.
Russell of Martinsburg has done projects in off-farm work experience and previously was treasurer of his FFA chapter.
Wismeyer of Martinsburg also specialized in off-farm work experience and is currently the chapter's secretary.
Ritchey of Martinsburg has on-farm work experience and is a member of the Cooperation, Community Service and Adopt-a-Highway committees.
Smith of Roaring Spring has both on- and off-farm work experience. He is on the Adopt-a-Highway, Recreation and Cooperation committees.
