Athlete of the week achievement: Barzdo carried the ball 13 times for 112 yards. He scored the Huskies' first three touchdowns of the game as they defeated Bishop McCort, 32-13, to capture the District 6 Class A title.

Season update: Barzdo has carried the ball 141 times for 874 yards and has 380 yards passing with a total of 19 touchdowns. Bishop Carroll (10-2) will play District 3 champion Reading Holy Name Friday night at Mansion Park in the PIAA state playoffs.
