Athlete of the week achievement: Scored three touchdowns, one on an interception return and two on runs of 15 and 21 yards, rushed for 108 yards on 14 carries, completed 1-of-3 passes for 6 yards and averaged 35 yards per kick on two punts to lead Central to a 26-14 win over Ligonier Valley in the first round of the District 6 class AA playoffs.
Season update: Runk has rushed for 749 yards on 140 carries, good for a 5.4 average, and 14 touchdowns. His touchdown total overall - Runk also plays some quarterback and returns punts and kickoffs - is 18. He has helped Central average 28.6 points per game for the 7-4 Scarlet Dragons.
