October 17, 2010
The Altoona Mirror

HARRISBURG - If you were unable to attend the meeting of the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners that was held on Oct. 4-5 in Wilkes-Barre, you still can check out what happened.

That's because if you tune into the Game Commission's Web site today or Monday, and again next weekend, (Oct. 22-25), you will be able to watch all of the staff reports and the board's voting session.

To view the meeting, go to Game Commission's Web site (www.pgc.state.pa.us) and click on "Broadcast of October Meeting." To view the broadcast, you will need to have flash player installed on your computer. For those who do not have that installed, please go to adobe.com/software/flash/about/.

Once that has been installed, you will be able to properly view the live feed. The download of is free.

The 3.5-hour loop will run from noon on Friday, Oct. 15, until 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 18. A rebroadcast will run the following weekend during the same time period.

All board meeting agendas and minutes, dating back to January of 2006, are available for review on the agency's Web site (www.pgc.state.pa.us) by putting your cursor on "Resources" in the menu bar at the top of the homepage, then putting your cursor over "Reports & Minutes" in the drop-down menu listing, and then clicking on "Commission Board Meeting Minutes."
