Altoona police have at least one man in custody after two pharmacy robberies Friday morning.
Thompson's Pharmacy, 2329 Broad Ave., Altoona, was robbed before the man hit Community Pharmacy, 1256 Pennsylvania Ave. in Tyrone, police and pharmacy officials said.
The lone robber threatened employees with Mace and was looking for OxyContin, a representative of Thompson Pharmacy said. No one was injured in the robberies, but the suspect did get away with OxyContin, authorities said.
Altoona police took the man into custody Friday morning, and a woman was also taken in for questioning.
Mirror reporters are working on a story for Saturday's newspaper.
