The fourth annual summer event to support the Blair Concert Chorale and the Blair Concert Chorale Children's Choir will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 6:00 PM in the gardens at the home of Lisa and Don Woomer. The evening will be a mid-summer party in a beautiful setting. Members of the chorale and other committee members will provide hors d'oeuvres and desserts.
Mary Kay O'Connor is chairing the event with members of the Chorale and the Board of Directors of the Blair Concert Chorale serving as committee members. The party will kick off the seventh season of Maestro Jeffrey Webb and will introduce the Chorale's exciting production of Chess, a Broadway show in Concert. Jennifer and Scott Pappal, directors of the Blair Concert Choral Children's Choir will provide music for the evening.

On October 23rd the Chorale will perform Jazz Favorites with the Altoona Area High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Larry Detwiler at the Mishler Theatre. The Blair Concert Chorale and the Blair Concert Chorale Children's Choir will perform the annual holiday concert on December 11 at the Wolf-Kuhn Theatre in the Misciagna Family Arts Center at Penn State Altoona. On April 2, 2011 the Chorale will present Chess in Concert at the Mishler Theatre. Finally, on May 6, 2011, the Blair Concert Chorale Children's Choir will conclude the season with their annual concert at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
