My sports claim to fame: In the old Altoona Parochial League, from 1984-1986, my Our Lady of Lourdes team never lost a football or basketball game to St. Mary's or St. Therese's.
If I were the czar of local sports, the one thing I would change would be: I would eliminate aluminum bats from all youth baseball and softball games.
