Two people face open lewdness and related charges after police caught them allegedly having sex last month in the parking lot of an Allegheny Township shopping center.
Police charged Christy L. Lindstrom, 27, and Jonathan P. Muss, 44, both listed as living at 1354 N. Second St., Tyrone, with one count each of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.
Allegheny Township police were summoned to Target, 153 Sierra Drive, about 5 p.m. May 3 by store security who reported two people engaged in sexual behavior in a truck, court documents state. An employee told police it was noticed through the store's surveillance camera, and when police arrived, the arresting officer reported he pulled up behind two vehicles parked side-by-side on the north side of the parking lot.
The officer indicated he waited to give the couple, who were allegedly in the crew cab of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a chance to stop, court documents state. When they didn't, the officer said he approached and could see Muss performing a sex act on a half-undressed Lindstrom.
The charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Steven D. Jackson.
