Athlete of the week achievement: Rex tossed a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and allowed no earned runs in a 3-1 playoff win over Penns Valley, then struck out 12 of the 17 batters she faced and gave up two hits over five innings in a 4-1 win over Mount Union.

Season update: Rex is 11-1 with an ERA of 1.10. She has 141 strikeouts and nine walks in 83 innings. Offensively, she is batting .379 with 19 RBIs.
