MCVEYTOWN - Huntingdon County Coroner Ronald E. Morder died Monday in a crash, state police at Lewistown said.
Morder, 44, of Mount Union was driving a Park's Garbage Service truck when he lost control on a sharp curve about 12:50 p.m. on Little Greenbriar Road, Wayne Township, Mifflin County, police said. The truck hit a tree and overturned once before coming to rest upright.
Morder and a passenger, Harold K. Knable Jr., 44, of Newton Hamilton were pronounced dead at the scene by the Mifflin County Coroner's Office.
The investigation continues.
