Athlete of the week achievement: Reese struck out 17 and fired a five-hitter in a 2-0 loss to Bishop Carroll, struck out seven, threw a three-hitter and had a triple in a 10-0 win over Westmont Hilltop and struck out 12 and threw a four-hitter in a 6-0 victory over Cambria Heights.
Season update: Reese has 64 strikeouts in 38 innings of work and has tossed three shutouts for the 4-2 Lady Panthers. Offensively, she has a .500 batting average, a .636 on-base percentage and a .688 slugging percentage.
