Williams piling up the wins

Athlete of week achievement: Williams won the long jump, triple jump, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles in two meets last week, both Hollidaysburg victories over Bellwood-Antis and Philipsburg-Osceola. She also took third place in the 100 hurdles, high jump and long lump, while finishing fourth in the triple jump at the West Perry Invitational.

Season update: Person bests this season for Williams include: 16.3 in the 100 hurdles, 50.0 in the 300 hurdles, 31-2 in triple jump and 15-10 in long jump - none of which are personal records.

Coach Don Tantius's quote: "She's consistently been my outstanding performer. This week, she did very well. She exceeded our expectations. She excells at a very high level in each of those events. She'll be hard to replace next year."
