Wallyball tournament April 22-25

Furrer Beverage, Sheetz, the Altoona Mirror, Rocky 104.9 and WTAJ are teaming up to once again sponsor the 22nd Annual Co-Ed Wallyball Tournament to benefit the Blair County Respiratory Disease Society.

The event will be held April 22 to 25 at The Summit Tennis & Athletic Club, Altoona.

Wallyball is basically like volleyball, only it is played on a racquetball court.

Teams consist of four members on the court (at least one must be female).

A maximum of 10 people per team is allowed. The event has three divisions: beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Team members receive a T-shirt and many other gifts and prizes. There are awards for first-, second- and third-place winners of each division. In addition there are many fundraiser awards.
