Because of the winter storm, all of today's District 6 basketball playoff games have been postponed, district basketball chairman T.J. Kakabar announced this morning. Today's games are now all scheduled for Monday at the same times and venues.
Saturday's games are still on as scheduled.
District 6 has also pushed back its Class AAA wrestling tournament at the Altoona Area High School Fieldhouse to Saturday. Preliminary-round matches begin at 9 a.m.
District 5 has been affected as well. Its wrestling tournament is off for today and has been rescheduled for Saturday and Monday. In addition, Chestnut Rdige and Tussey Mountain home girls basketball District 5 playoff games slated for tonight has been moved to 2 p.m. Saturday.
