DUNCANSVILLE - The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host Return to Romance on Feb. 13 at The Calvin House.
The event is being held in honor of the late John Carothers.
"He was more than a devoted husband and father of four children, John was a certified public accountant for over 35 years. John lost his struggle with MS in the fall of 2008,'' said Bonnie Carothers, his wife of 40 years. "John enjoyed life to his fullest and was grateful for every moment.''

Bonnie Carothers explained her husband loved playing golf and riding his bicycle. "He enjoyed playing bridge, but, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends,'' she said.
Bonnie explained that no one had the sense of humor that John had, and he had a nickname for everybody.
John was diagnosed with MS at the age of 29, and over the years his MS progressed so that it was harder for him to enjoy the things he loved to do. "John was an inspiration to all who knew him,'' she added.
Tickets for the Return to Romance are $100 per person or $200 per couple. Tables of eight also are available.
The event features hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dancing to Rick Hirsch Music, a silent auction and more. It is black-tie optional. Carolyn Donaldson from WTAJ will be the emcee.
