Athlete of week achievement: Won first place in the 500 freestyle and the 200 freestyle at the Bucknell Invitational. She is the first Hollidaysburg girl to ever win two events at the meet. She also won the 200 IM and the 400 freestyle against Huntingdon. Was part of the winning 200 medley relay team and the 400 relay.
Season update: Same as above.
Coach Deb Solomon's quote: Sarah is such a hard worker, all the time. She goes 100 percent whether at practice or at a meet. She has a busy week coming up so looking forward to seeing how she does. She was really psyched after the relays (at Bucknell). We talked about the competition and she was mentally ready to go into it. We were really happy with her performance. She was almost a full lap ahead of her next closest person in the one race. She is just a great kid to coach who does what ever you want her to do.
