Mark H. Bulger Jr., 88, of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, died Saturday at Homewood. He was born in Woodbury, son of Mark H. Sr. and Martha (Sell) Bulger. He married Rosalind (Furry) Feb. 21, 1947 in Loysburg.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kathy and husband, Don Stryk, of Corpus Christy, Texas; a son, Jim, of Saxton; two sisters: Anna Ritchey of Bedford and Leone Zimmerman of Woodbury; three grandsons: Chris Cessna and wife, Amy, and her daughter Amanda, Michael Cessna and wife, Diana, and son Mason, James Jr. and friend Amber Burkholder.

He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Woodbury.

He founded Bulger's Jewelry Store in Saxton, Martinsburg and Bedford. He retired in 1981.

He was a staff sergeant in the Air Force in WWII.

He was a 60-year member of the F&AM Lodge in Roaring Spring, a life member of the Saxton Fire Company, and a charter member of Iron Master's Country Club.

He enjoyed walking, golf, watch and clock making and the public.

Private memorial service will be held Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Homewood at Martinsburg or Faith United Methodist Church, Woodbury. Arrangements are by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
