S. Alleghenies OKs loans

The Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission Board of Directors Wednesday approved loans for the following area businesses:

-- $175,000 for E.B. Endres Inc., 10630 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon, to help pay for a $350,000 project to purchase new machinery and equipment. The project is expected to lead to the retention of 19 jobs and the creation of five new jobs in the next three years.

-- $125,000 for Wind Turbine Solutions LLC, 187 Maple Valley Road, Meyersdale, to help pay for a $250,000 project to purchase new equipment and provide working capital. The project is expected to lead to the creation of five jobs over the next three years.

-- $100,000 for Bill Sell's Bold LLC, 1413 11th Ave., to help pay for a $350,000 project which calls for the purchase of Michael's Cafe, renovate the building and purchase new equipment. The project is expected to lead to the retention of five jobs and the creation of five jobs over the next three years.
