Bellwood-Antis graduate Josh Kleinfelter was named the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Conference player of the week Monday after rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns for the Lycoming College football team in a 37-23 win over Susquehanna Saturday. Kleinfelter averaged 6.2 yards a rush.

Garrett Clawson, a Hollidaysburg graduate, recently participated in the National Elite Kicking Camp at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater Campus.
Clawson, who is the Robert Morris placekicker, qualified in both the kicking and punting competitions, but opted to compete on only the kicking side.
After three days of competition against opposition including 77 Division I kickers and punters, Clawson finished tied for fourth in field goal accuracy, 13th in kickoffs and 17th in hang time.

Annie Cekada, a Central Cambria graduate, was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country player of the week on Sept. 9. Cekada finished second overall and helped lead the Wilmington College cross country team to the team title at the Franklin College Sodexo Grizzly Invitational. Cekada's time on the 5K course was 18:56.

Hollidaysburg graduate Michelle Herman was named the Warrior of the Week for the week of Sept. 7 for her efforts on the Lycoming College cross country team. Herman finished 15th overall in a field of more than 155 runners at the Delaware Valley Invitational Sept. 5. Herman ran the 6K race with a time of 26:11.

Central Cambria graduate Carly Seymour finished second at the James Madison Invitational Sept. 12 with a time of 18:12.5 to help the Duke women's cross country team win the event. Seymour finished second to only teammate Emily Schwitzer, who broke the course record.

Altoona graduate Kelsie Bumbarger was named to the Lebanon Valley Invitational all-tournament team for her efforts on the Penn State Altoona volleyball team.
Bumbarger averaged 6.94 assists per game, 3.7 digs per game and contributed four aces to lead the Lions to a second-place finish. She was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference player of the week for her performance Monday.

Kelli Michanowicz, a Hollidaysburg graduate, had an assist for the Westminster women's soccer team in a 2-1 victory over John Carroll Sept. 15.
