HOLLIDAYSBURG - New Morning Grief Camp will host its second session of camp Aug. 9 to 13 at Camp Hileman, Scotch Valley Road, 1 mile past Scotch Valley Country Club. The registration deadline is Saturday.
The free camp is sponsored by AseraCare Hospice, and the campground is provided by First Baptist Church of Altoona. The camp offers many different activities, arts and crafts, free lunches and lots of fun to children ages 6-18 who have been or are experiencing grief and loss due to the death of or separation from a loved one.
