BBBS 12th Annual Pepsi/Sheetz Golf Classic

Event set for July 27

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County will host their 12th Annual Pepsi/Sheetz Golf Classic, on Monday, July 27th at Iron Master's Golf Course, Roaring Spring. Prices for this year's outing have been reduced!

Registration begins at 11:00 AM, with all golfers receiving a complimentary prize package. The lunch buffet begins at 11:30AM and team pictures will be available. Every golfer will have the chance to win prizes on and off the course that day. The event will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 PM. The tournament is open to all levels of golfers, both men and women. Foursome will be handicapped based on their team's total handicap. Prizes will be awarded for various skill shots, including $10,000 on one of the hole in one prizes. All hole in one prizes are sponsored by Fiore Isuzu. There is a hole in one contest on every par 3, as well as many other contests on the course.

A donation of $100 per individual golfer or $400 per foursome is requested. Individuals or businesses interested in purchasing a sponsor package may do so at different levels: Gold, Silver, or Bronze. Prominently display your businesses' name on one of the tee or green signs that day for a donation of $100.

The Leonard S. Fiore/New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Reception and Drawing will begin at 5PM. Tickets for the evening's reception and drawing are also available for non-golfers. All proceeds from this year's event stay in Blair County to assist the local program in their work with the children from single-parent families involved with the agency, by providing a one-to-one mentoring program, additional services and positive youth activities for all of the children.
