Ian Casher pitched a gem, allowing just two hits over seven innings as Conrad Chiropractic Lilly American Legion defeated ProActive Sports, 2-1, in Greater City Baseball?League action Monday at Juniata.

Casher had a no-hitter until John Snyder broke it up in the seventh inning. Brent Davison and Cody Gallaher each had RBIs to support Casher.

Jimmy Clancy had the lone RBI for ProActive.

BELLWOOD - Bellwood First Commonwealth trailed heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but Derek Montgomery's game-winning single lifted his team to a 12-11 victory over Rotary in Area 4 VFW Teener action for 15-16-year-olds at Drost Field.

Brian Leap had three hits and three RBIs for BFC, and Tyler Beach hit a home run.

Tyler Hennessey had a home run and two RBIs for Rotary.

n Jordan Baum had two hits as Auss Irrigation edged Locker Room, 5-3, in Hollidaysburg.

Joey Glass struck out 12 and had an RBI for Locker Room.

Travis Dodson led Auss Irrigation with two RBIs.

n Zach Ottaway had three hits and five RBIs to help Coldwell Banker slip past Ansley RV, 25-20, in Area 4 VFW 13-14-year-old playoff action at Sunbrook in Duncansville.

Eli Hargis and Andrew Brode each had four hits for Coldwell, and Thayne Russell, John Johnson and Erik Stern each had three.

Brian Urban had four hits for Ansley, Greg Dinges had five RBIs, and Parker Codd drove in four runs.
