Kristen Anne Stormer, 23, of 1409 Walnut St., Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday afternoon in Ocean City, Md., as the result of a bicycle/truck accident. She was born in Warren, daughter of John D. and Karen A. (Gapske) Stormer. She is survived by her parents; a sister, Shannon of Penn-sylvania Furnace; and a grandmother, Joyce E. Gapske of Alpena, Mich.
Kristen was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. She was a 2004 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She worked as a photographer at Scopes Photography in Ocean City, Md.
Kristen loved people and enjoyed reading, writing and traveling.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Plank, Stitt and Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, Pa. (www.pssfh.com) where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, by Father Clement Gardner. Committal will be made at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
