''Global Gardening --A Look Through Our Eyes' was the program at the Blair Garden Club of Altoona on Sept. 22. at the 28th Street Church of the Brethren in Altoona.
Four club members gave presentations about the history, gardening and vegetables pertaining to different countries: Lisa Merschiltz, Germany; Angela Rowe, China; Flory Ciambotti, Italy; and Maria Jimenez, Peru.
Fifteen club members attended the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania VI 54th annual meeting on Sept. 17 at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park, Martinsburg.

Bulbs were given to six new members: Joan Gervinski, Barb Ruggery, Phyllis Wiedmer, Bernice Bernt, Tammy Wood and Sherri Baker.
Laurels were given to members for their achievements: Becky Dell, Pat Grove, Patz Lowery, Paulette Farabaugh, Maria Jimenez and Flory Ciambotti.
Joan Gervinski presented a gardening forum on saving money by bringing plants inside for the winter.
Club president Mary Cramer welcomed Rhoda Beunier as a guest and two new members, Susan Bloom and Karen Kondracki.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the 28th Street Church of the Brethren, Altoona.
