Penn State fans can watch and hear about the Nittany Lions on TV and radio tonight.
The Big Ten Network is airing a 90-minute program featuring video from Penn State preseason practice and an interview with Joe Paterno. The show begins at 9 p.m. The Big Ten Network is available to satellite and Comcast subscribers in the region but not to Atlantic Broadband customers.
Also, the ''Nittany Lion Hotline'' radio show makes its season debut tonight on ESPN Radio 1430 WVAM and numerous other stations on the Penn State Sports Network. The one-hour call-in program begins at 6:05 p.m.
Paterno typically is the guest on the show but will not be on tonight. Instead, Lion captains Sean Lee, A.Q. Shipley, Anthony Scirrotto, Derrick Williams and Josh Gaines will be the guests.
