Skeletal remains found in Centre County park

POSTED: January 24, 2008

Human remains were found at Bald Eagle State Park in Centre County, state police said Thursday.
A forensic anthropology team exhumed bones at the park on Wednesday. State police said it will take several months to identify the remains.

Police provided few details about the discovery, or if they believe foul play is involved. The discovery was made in Howard Township, which is north of Bellefonte.
