October 14, 2007
The Altoona Mirror
Age: 37

Residence: Altoona

High school: Altoona 1988

My favorite sport: Football

I usually attend games with: My wife, Jennifer, and son, Tanner

Favorite high school team: Altoona

Favorite college team: Harvard

Favorite pro team: Miami Dolphins

My favorite sports memory: Playing in the Tokyo Dome in Japan for the Ivy League All-Star against a Japanese collegiate All-Star team.

The local athlete I most enjoyed watching while growing up: My mother, Cathy Rosenberry

My all-time favorite local coach: Marty Rusnak

The most famous athlete I ever met: Doug Flutie

My most prized autograph/picture is of: A photo of the Altoona defensive line in 1987 in practice during a snowstorm, and coach Dan Bender is with us in the photo.

If I have a claim to fame as a fan it would be: I get matside seats free for all District 6 and Northwest Regional wrestling as an announcer.

If I were czar of local sports: My rule would be to allow all kids to have fun and enjoy playing all sports before they get to the point where the games are taken too seriously by the adults in charge.
