Coloring Animal Mandalas by Wendy Piersall

September 3, 2014 - Emily Dimov-Gottshall
I recently looked through Wendy Piersall's new book Coloring Animal Mandalas: 30 Hypnotically-Beautiful, Mystical Wildlife Designs and was struck with the grace and details of the lines and themes. The cover gives a hint as what to expect when you apply yourself in this meditative and thought provoking book. I highly recommend getting a copy through amazon.

"From the Sanskrit word for "circle", mandalas have been used for meditation and healing for thousands of years. Coloring Animal Mandalas adds the beauty of the animal kingdom--including butterflies, tigers, swans, snakes, peacocks, seahorses, and even unicorns-- into these intricate designs for page after page of coloring book bliss." I would add this is a great way to getting in touch with that child inside of you who loved to color.
