Root makes a change

Collins had been working as the reporter on Pirates cable broadcasts for the past few seasons. She was not scheduled to be on the current trip to Baltimore and Cleveland. She was told this week that her time with Root was over.

Dan Potash is filling the reporting role on the Pirates games.

Root, formerly FSN Pittsburgh, has made a number of changes behind the scenes over the past 12 months.
