Steelers aftermath

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley assured everyone he'll be recovered from his hamstring injury in time to play Sunday night's home game against Baltimore.

Teammates weren't so sure. Some other players said they didn't expect to have Woodley for the Ravens game and wouldn't be surprised if he was out of the lineup until December.

If that's the case, it would be a blow to the Steelers. Woodley has been playing very well lately.

Maybe they're just preparing themselves for a possible worst-case scenario? We'll see what happens as the week unfolds.

I thought the Steelers defense was old and slow so what's the difference?

If the Steelers offense continues to play as well as they did yesterday, we will be seeing the Steelers play well into late January and maybe into February - again........

Lamar has been playing well but, if their offense keeps the ball moving that efficiently, the Steelers can win without him.

I have never seen a Steeler offense keep any defense on their heels all game like that before. The pat's front seven played well for the most part but it looked like the secondary had no clue as to how to defend against a pass - any pass.

Big Ben and the Steelers offense looked like the colts offense from a few years back. Ben really picked the defense apart and the receivers caught the ball.

Opening with several throws to Miller really set the tempo of the game. One worry though is that those throws to Miller should have been keeping the linebackers and the safeties back off the line of scrimmage. The Steelers could not take advantage of the running game early like I thought they should. They do have a patchwork offensive line however at this point so maybe the running game will improve as they get players back.
