| | ‘Off Book: Light Painting’July 20, 2011 - Emily Dimov-GottshallHi there!
As you may have seen from our press release earlier this week, PBS Arts has launched its new interactive series, ‘Off Book’, which focuses on experimental and non-traditional forms of art. The first short film in the series, ‘Off Book: Light Painting’, is available online starting today. View here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-ow6VXYr50
In, ‘Off Book: Light Painting’, viewers are introduced to light painters Aurora Crowley and Patrick Rochon who talk about their affinity for this new medium, their technique, their influences, and what drives them to pursue these new visual forms.
This piece and the corresponding series will shed light (ok, pun intended) on innovative artmaking that has remained a well-kept secret within parts of the art community. For many viewers, this will be their first exposure to these new art forms and a window into new worlds of creativity. | EZToUse.com |
