| | Sept. 10, 2001September 10, 2010 - Mark Leberfinger I'd like to share this with you as I did earlier with my Facebook friends. Today is a bittersweet day for me. I started full-time at the Altoona Mirror on Sept. 10, 2001, as the police reporter. Because of the next day, I'll never forget my starting date. You may not understand but I feel honored to have been able to help chronicle the events here on 9/11, a day that changed all of us forever. But then again, I wish I hadn't had a part in chronicling the day's events because so many people died and our nation was permanently scarred. Our collective innocence was taken away forever.
