| | Stretch Drive - Plenty of Reasons!August 2, 2010 - Altoona CurveMade it out to Curve, Pa. this year? If so, thank you very much. If so repeatedly, thank you very, very much. If not, don't despair. You still have time, but the window is closing. There are 20 home dates left on the regular season schedule. Included in that mix: only three more weekends, three more Two-for-Tuesdays, three more Thirsty Thursdays, six more Fireworks shows, two more giveaway nights, appearances by Myron Noodleman and the Zooperstars, and many other fun promotions. If you haven't tried us in 2010, we think you'll like what we've done with the place. We have ramped up the entertainment value significantly this season by unveiling new kids' attractions, spicing up on the on-field events, adding more giveaways and fireworks shows, and theming everything out Curve, Pa. style! All of this - plus we have a first-place team that looks poised to make the post-season for the first time since 2006! So, come on out and try us again starting tomorrow - Tuesday, August 3 with a doubleheader against the rival Akron Aeros. Fittingly enough, it's on a Two-for-Tuesday - two-for-one tickets, hot dogs, and small popcorn all night long. Also, Bark in the Park night is back on the schedule on Wednesday! Bring your pooch out to the ballpark for the 7:00 p.m. game. The series with the Aeros wraps up with three giveaways on tap on Thirsty Thursday. Brad Lincoln logo baseballs to the first 2,000 fans through the gates - plus water bottles and Budweiser pint glasses will be given away upon exiting the park. Plus, Bud Light 16 oz. drafts are just $2 and small sodas are $1.50 in the series finale. See you in Curve, Pa.! Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | EZToUse.com |
