Coffee with your British Open?
July 16, 2010 - Neil Rudel
I'm in the midst of watching my favorite golf event of the year -- the British Open.
There's nothing quite like being able to get up as early as 4 a.m. and have coffee while reading the paper and watching a major unfold.
It's especially fun at St. Andrews, where the conditions -- between the cavernous bunkers, high grass and inevitable wind and rain -- are typically ridiculous.
Plus you don't have to burn an entire Sunday afternoon in front of the TV because it's wrapped usually up by 2 p.m.
